Students will learn about the birds of Missouri through the creation of Birds brochure. They will also construct a bird house using the knowledge of tape measure, hand saw and a power drill discussed in class.

Objective
Define and recognize the different types of birds
Correctly read a tape measure and use those skills to measure boards for the birdhouse with 100% accuracy.
Demonstrate how to cut and construct boards to make a completed bird house.
Explain how migration affects bird populations, as well as environmental factors.
