This is a great tool to allow students to be creative in their writing using a different resource and outlet. This guide does not teach students how to set up a blog or go through the different steps. It focuses more on the importance of the writing being used in the blog. My students use WordPress and follow their very easy guide to set up a blog. This allows them some creativity when setting it up but also to focus on their writing and not on the blog creation. I give the students one week to create their blog and their introduction post. Then we use the blog throughout the semester for assignments.
