Product Description

You have the ability to complete it before the holidays for Valentines Day in a relatively short time!
 
Objectives:
  1. Students will explore the history of chocolate.
  2. Students will create a peanut cluster.
  3. Students will design a new chocolate flavor or dessert.
  4. Students will learn how chocolate became a part of Valentines Day.
  5. Students will read and discover why chocolate is most sought after on Valentine’s Day.

Materials Needed:
Melting Chocolate
Peanuts
Marshmallows- Optional (this is what is included in peanut clusters in my community)
Paper plate- 1 per student
Plastic spoon – 1 per student
Large drinking cup (16oz or bigger)- 1 per student
Small amount of vegetable oil depending on how much chocolate you are melting
