Students compete to put together a recipe that will be voted on by the rest of the class. They must stay within a budget and meet a series of criteria to qualify. Students will utilize the lesson learned in the Reading Recipes and Measurements Lesson.

I use this FREE activity as a follow up to my Reading Recipes and Measurements Lesson. Students work through different steps and it is a great way for them to apply what they have just learned! They can make the recipes or you can stop just right before that step. But we always make the recipes and it is a crowd favorite.
