This is a fabulous lab that walks student through the history of pumpkins, allows them to explore different pumpkin facts while writing stories, and they will cook a no-bake pumpkin treat!
 
Time Frame:
Pre-Lab – 2 days
Labs – 3 days ( 1 day for prep, 1 day for cooking, 1 day for clean-up)
Post-Lab – ½ to 1 day
 
Objectives:
  1. Cook a no-bake pumpkin pie.
  2. Understand and explain the history of pumpkins.
  3. Expand on why pumpkin is a traditional flavor during the holidays.
