I have broken this training into four parts – goals, challenges, some of my own resources and successes, tips and tricks. My hope is that you can utilize what I have provided for you to create a lab and classroom environment that makes you feel comfortable with! I also hope you can use some of this material and tweak it to make your own. I would love to connect with you or help answer any questions you may have. Objectives

  1. Provide the educator with resources and a timeline to prepare and successfully execute a food science lab.
  2. Provide tips and tricks to help the educator think about circumstances that might be out of their control but at least they can prepare for and put a place in place if and when needed.
  3. Guide the educator in making their own plan of action that works best for them and the needs of their students.
